The Denver Ghostbusters have returned. More than two years have passed since the events in the Freddy VS Ghostbusters. Business is booming, and the “stereotypical personalities will be in town. Jumps in the new ghostbusting technology promises to achieve more efficiency for hunting, as branches of the franchise have popped up around the globe.
Recently, the famous archaeologist Dr. Klaus Constantin has discovered an artefact of great outside power in the Egyptian city of Cynopolis. This artefact, known as the amulet of Anubis is legendary for its powers of Anubis much - the oldest guardian of the underworld. Constantin is the talisman to Denver, where he hopes to use it to open a portal to the other side. Frankly, what harm has to open a portal to another dimension always caused? The city is rocked miles high when the paranormal eliminators face against the forces of darkness in a battle for the souls of the earth.
